Iowa Administrative Rules Review
Pursuant to Executive Order 10, IFA is required to review all its administrative rules by September 1, 2025. Following publication of reports of the review, IFA will rescind each chapter and repromulgate rules that are necessary to keep no later than December 31, 2025.
Rule reports will be published on this page. Regulatory analyses and notices of intended action required by the order will be published in the Iowa Administrative Bulletin as they are completed.

Notices of intended action to rescind chapters 2, 4, 30, 32, 37, and 38 will be published 12/11/2024. Notices of intended action to rescind chapters 9, 13, and 19, and adopt new chapters in lieu thereof, will also be published 12/11/2024. Two public hearings on the notices of intended action will be held at IFA (1963 Bell Avenue, Des Moines), in the Missouri River Conference Room.
